Porsche Travel Experience Nova Scotia

What cars will I drive at Porsche Travel Experience?
Porsche Experience uses current Porsche models. Vehicles are listed on each program page and are subject to change based on availability.

Do I need a driver’s license to participate?
Yes, all driving participants need a valid driver’s license to participate. Driving licenses from Canada, the USA, EU and international driving licenses (in English) in conjunction with a national driving license are accepted.

Is there an age requirement to participate in Porsche Track Experience?
Yes, all driving participants must be 21 years of age or older.

Will I be in the car by myself?
All Porsche Travel Experience programs allocate two drivers per vehicle. Participants will share the driving time with driver rotations occurring at designated rest areas. Driving partners may be noted on the registration form, otherwise they will be assigned upon check-in on the first event day. If you would like to reserve a vehicle to yourself for the program, you may purchase two spots within the program.

What are some of the highlights or landmarks I’ll visit during Travel Experience?
Participants will experience the legendary Cabot Trail driving route on a 4 day journey through Nova Scotia.

How many participants will be with me during the trip?
Up to 16 participants can participate in the Travel Experience.

Are travel and accommodations included?
All accommodations and meals are included during your Porsche Travel Experience program where noted. Participants are responsible for making their own travel arrangements to and from the event location.

Which airport is most convenient to Porsche Travel Experience Nova Scotia?
If you are travelling by air, we recommend that you fly to Halifax Stanfield International Airport (YHZ).

Air Canada has provided Porsche Travel Experience with a special booking code should you choose to fly with Air Canada.  After booking your seat, go to AirCanada.com and enter the program code in the Promo Code section of your booking page.

2023 Air Canada promotion code: MEZ644K1

What should I wear?
Since the temperatures in Nova Scotia can be between 10-25°C in autumn, we recommend bringing along appropriate clothing. In addition, we suggest bringing the following items: sunglasses, rainwear, lip balm, sunscreen and comfortable, warm shoes with a hard sole, which are suitable for driving (no open toe or high heel shoes for driving).

We recommend wearing several layers of clothing since this will allow for better flexibility. The dress code for dinner is smart casual.

Can I bring my own car?
Porsche Canada will provide the  vehicles for the Porsche Travel Experience.

Will my Experience be cancelled due to weather?
In the case of inclement weather preventing the driving program from running safely, the driving program will be adapted as needed and resume when safe to do so.

Can I bring a guest?
Since there are two drivers per car and due to the traveling nature of Travel Experience, all guests (driving and non-driving) must have their own registration, regardless of the amount of driving they choose to do. Driving partners may be noted in the registration form.
